To support and enhance business process management, workflow automation, and robotic process automation solutions across the organisation. The role focuses on workflow design, system support, configuration, application development, and driving measurable process efficiency across business functions. The incumbent will play a key role in automating repetitive tasks, integrating systems, and ensuring seamless workflow execution and data integrity across enterprise applications.
1. Workflow Process & BPM Automation
- Design, configure, and deploy workflow processes on BPM platforms.
- Analyse existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and map workflow automation opportunities.
- Develop and configure low-code/no-code workflow applications aligned with business requirements.
- Create process maps, approval workflows, escalation rules, and SLA-based workflow routing.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders and process owners to test, refine, and deploy workflow-driven solutions.
- Monitor workflow performance and recommend improvements to optimise turnaround time and operational efficiency.
- Ensure workflow governance, process compliance, and audit readiness.
2. RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Development & Support
- Design, develop, and deploy RPA bots using tools such as Nividous, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism to automate high-volume, rule-based business processes.
- Identify suitable automation candidates across finance, sales, operations, and support functions through process discovery and feasibility assessments.
- Build attended and unattended automation workflows including screen scraping, data extraction, report generation, and ERP interactions.
- Perform bot monitoring, exception handling, maintenance, and version upgrades to ensure stability and performance.
- Document RPA solutions including Process Definition Documents (PDDs), Solution Design Documents (SDDs), and test scripts.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate RPA bots with BPM, ERP, and enterprise systems for end-to-end automation.
3. Application Development & System Support
- Develop and customise applications using BPM tools, RPA platforms, or relevant low-code technologies.
- Build and maintain API integrations and facilitate structured data exchange between enterprise systems.
- Perform testing, debugging, and performance validation of developed applications and bots.
- Support workflow-related system enhancements, configurations, and issue resolution.
4. User Support & Adoption
- Provide first and second-level support to end users, resolving workflow and automation-related issues within defined SLAs.
- Conduct user training sessions and create self-help materials to drive adoption of workflow and automation solutions.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to translate requirements into workable solutions.
- Support change management and adoption initiatives for newly implemented workflow and automation processes.
5. Data Management & Reporting
- Manage data uploads, validations, and transformations across workflow and connected enterprise systems.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights on workflow and automation performance.
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards and audit requirements.
- Monitor workflow KPIs and operational metrics to support decision-making and process optimisation.
