We are seeking a skilled and proactive Site Engineer to oversee and manage our on-site project work, ensuring compliance with our safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Finalization and Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to finalize project plans and define the scope, timeline, and budget.
- Develop comprehensive project execution plans that detail each phase, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Execution Team Formation:
- Build, manage, and lead a strong execution team focused on the construction side, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure all team members clearly understand their roles and responsibilities within the project.
- Construction Management:
- Creating Systems and Establishing processes to ensure work is executed according to the project timeline, specifications,budget and quality standards.
- Identify potential issues or delays early and devise effective mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
- Budget and Cost Management:
- Create and manage project budgets and schedule
- Approve expenses and ensure all costs align with the established budget.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure all construction activities comply with Transways Realty's quality standards and relevant legal regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain safety and quality, taking corrective action as necessary.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain open lines of communication with senior management, stakeholders, and clients, providing regular project progress updates.
- Address and resolve stakeholder concerns promptly and professionally.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including daily progress reports, quality assessments, and budget analyses.
- Present detailed project performance reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of proven experience managing large real estate projects, ideally in the commercial and residential sectors.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
