Position Overview
The Admission Counsellor will play a key role in guiding prospective students throughout their admission journey — from inquiry to enrolment. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a consultative approach, and a strong passion for helping students achieve their educational and career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Counselling Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming inquiries (calls, emails, online leads, and walk-ins) and follow up promptly.
- Counsel students on suitable programs offered by BCIPL based on their academic and career goals.
- Explain course details, curriculum, eligibility, and admission procedures effectively.
- Achieve individual and team admission targets on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for lead generation campaigns and follow-up activities.
- Maintain accurate student data and follow-up records using CRM or internal tools.
- Support admission events, webinars, and student engagement initiatives.
- Provide post-enrolment support to ensure smooth onboarding and transition of students.
Reception Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations
- Welcome and assist visitors
- Handle incoming calls and messages
- Schedule counselling sessions and appointments
- Maintain student records and enquiry data
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in academic counselling, admissions, or EdTech sales.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (proficiency in English, Hindi, and Bengali preferred).
- Good knowledge of MS Office, CRM tools, and digital communication channels.
- Goal-oriented and able to work under minimal supervision.
