- Part-Time: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM IST OR 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM IST
About the Role
We are seeking passionate and experienced AP Calculus Tutors to teach students enrolled in the US curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise in Calculus and a proven ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts. This role involves delivering engaging online sessions, providing academic support, and helping students excel in AP Calculus examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one online tutoring sessions for AP Calculus students.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with the College Board AP curriculum.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Help students prepare for quizzes, tests, assignments, and AP examinations.
- Monitor student progress and maintain academic records.
- Create an engaging and interactive virtual learning environment.
- Address student queries and provide additional academic support when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC curriculum.
- Minimum 2-5 years of teaching or tutoring experience in AP Calculus or US Curriculum Mathematics.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience using online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or similar tools.
- Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple and student-friendly manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience teaching US-based students.
- Experience in online tutoring for international students.
- Familiarity with digital whiteboards and educational technology tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
