About the Role We are looking for an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead our Finance & Accounts function. The ideal candidate will oversee accounting operations, financial planning, statutory compliance, taxation, reporting, audits, budgeting, and internal financial controls while partnering with leadership to support the company's growth. This role offers an opportunity to play a key role in building scalable finance processes within a fast-growing AI-powered Legal-Tech company.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead and manage the day-to-day Finance & Accounts function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
● Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, payroll accounting, and treasury operations.
● Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
● Lead the budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis processes.
● Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable statutory requirements.
● Drive month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
● Coordinate and manage statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and financial due diligence.
● Develop and implement robust financial controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures.
● Liaise with auditors, bankers, tax consultants, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.
● Monitor working capital, cash flow, and fund utilization to support business operations.
● Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization of finance operations.
● Support the leadership team with strategic financial insights, profitability analysis, and business decision-making.
● Mentor and guide junior members of the Finance & Accounts team while fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills
● Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and statutory compliance
● Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, payroll compliances, and corporate accounting
● Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning
● Proficiency in Tally ERP and advanced Microsoft Excel
● Experience in audit management, financial controls, and risk management
● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
● Ability to lead teams and collaborate across departments
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
● Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) preferred
● 1-2 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, statutory compliance, and financial management
● Prior experience in a technology, SaaS, startup, or professional services organization will be an added advantage

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
