We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components, ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant electrical codes and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical theory, practical application, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems, apparatus, and components using various testing devices.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout protocols.
- Work with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Provide accurate estimates for materials and labor required for electrical projects.
- Maintain and repair existing electrical infrastructure, including lighting, power circuits, and control systems.
- Install and bend conduit, pull wire, and terminate connections.
