The Daleside Manor is an award-winning boutique hotel nestled in the hills of Kasauli. Our restaurant celebrates fresh ingredients, thoughtful cooking and warm hospitality, offering guests a menu inspired by Continental favourites, Asian flavours and seasonal local produce.
We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie with experience in both Asian and Continental cuisine who enjoys working in a close-knit kitchen where versatility, teamwork and consistency are valued above hierarchy.
This is not a large hotel kitchen with specialised stations and extensive brigades. Our team is small, and every chef plays an important role in delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality Asian and Continental dishes with consistency and attention to detail.
- Take ownership of your section while confidently supporting other areas of the kitchen whenever required.
- Assist with menu development, seasonal specials and recipe standardisation.
- Ensure mise en place is completed efficiently and kitchen operations run smoothly during service.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, food safety and kitchen cleanliness.
- Monitor stock levels, minimise wastage and assist with inventory management.
- Support junior kitchen staff through guidance and training.
- Work closely with the Head Chef to maintain quality and continuously improve the guest dining experience.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has proven experience as a Chef de Partie in quality hotels or restaurants.
- Is confident preparing both Asian and Continental cuisine.
- Enjoys working across multiple sections rather than specialising in only one.
- Is organised, calm and efficient during busy service periods.
- Takes pride in consistency, cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Is proactive, dependable and willing to step in wherever the team needs support.
- Values collaboration and understands that great kitchens are built on teamwork.
