About Toise
Toise is a specialty coffee roastery and café built on craft, sourcing integrity, and quiet confidence — not vibes, not volume. We roast, source, and serve coffee for people who already know what they're drinking, and we're not trying to convince anyone otherwise. The Role
We're looking for a Senior Barista who's ready to operate like a partner on the floor, not just execute drinks. This isn't a "pull shots and smile" role — you'll shape how the bar runs, train the next person who joins, and get your hands into the roasting and sourcing side of the business too.
What you'll actually be doing
- Running the bar at a standard that doesn't need supervision — consistency, speed, and craft on every single drink
- Training and mentoring junior baristas — not just showing them the steps, but teaching them why
- Helping build and refine our SOPs — bar workflows, quality checkpoints, prep and cleaning standards
- Sitting in on green bean sampling and cupping sessions, and having an actual opinion on what we buy
- Cupping roasted batches for QC — telling us when something's off before a customer does
- Working with us on new beverage development — recipe testing, costing, seasonal specials
- Keeping equipment dialed in — grinders, espresso machine, the unglamorous stuff that keeps quality consistent
Who we're looking for
- 2–4 years in specialty coffee, ideally already in a lead or senior barista role
- A palate you trust, and ideally some cupping experience
- Real curiosity about coffee — origin, processing, roast profiles — not just service mechanics
- Comfortable teaching and correcting others, patiently and clearly
- Internally motivated — we're not going to babysit you into caring about your work
- Low ego, high ownership. You want to prove yourself, not just occupy a title
Nice to have
- Experience with manual brews
- Strong latte art
- Experience in an independent specialty café or roastery, not a chain

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
