Key Responsibilities
1. Estimation and Tendering
- Quantity Take-Offs: Accurately calculating volumes of earthwork, asphalt, aggregates, cement, and steel from engineering drawings.
- BOQ Preparation: Drafting Bills of Quantities for tendering and bidding processes.
- Rate Analysis: Evaluating and comparing market rates for road materials with standard government guidelines.
2. Billing and Contract Administration
- RA Bills (Running Account Bills): Preparing or verifying periodic interim payment applications for work completed on-site.
- Subcontractor Management: Checking and validating subcontractor measurements and invoices.
- Variation/Change Orders: Identifying and pricing any deviations from the original design or scope
3. Cost Control and Reconciliation
- Material Reconciliation: Tracking the consumption of core materials (bitumen, aggregate, steel) against theoretical requirements to minimize wastage.
- Budget Forecasting: Preparing Job Cost Reports to advise management on the financial health of the highway project.
- Profitability Analysis: Monitoring actual expenses against the initial budget to ensure profitability
Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per month
