Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Radiology In-Charge to oversee the daily operations of the Radiology Department. The candidate will be responsible for managing radiology staff, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating diagnostic imaging services to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day functioning of the Radiology Department.
- Ensure efficient scheduling and execution of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and other modalities.
- Monitor departmental workflow and ensure timely reporting and patient service.
- Lead, guide, and evaluate radiology technicians and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and calibration of radiology equipment.
- Maintain quality standards, documentation, and departmental records.
- Handle patient concerns and ensure a high standard of patient care and satisfaction.
- Coordinate with consultants, clinicians, nursing teams, and other departments for seamless patient management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and accreditation activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Radiology Technology or Medical Imaging Technology.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a Radiology Department, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiology operations, imaging modalities, and radiation safety practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals will be an added advantage.
