Job Summary
The Placement Officer is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with hiring partners, coordinating student placements, and ensuring successful employment opportunities for students. The role also includes preparing students for interviews and achieving placement targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with companies and recruiters.
- Source job and internship opportunities for students.
- Coordinate placement drives, interviews, and recruitment events.
- Match student profiles with employer requirements.
- Conduct resume-building, interview preparation, and career guidance sessions.
- Track placement status and maintain accurate placement records.
- Follow up with recruiters and students throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate with academic and sales teams to improve student employability.
- Prepare placement reports and achieve monthly placement targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Placement, Recruitment, or Career Services, preferably in EdTech.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
