Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Pattern Master to join our growing fashion team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in women's wear pattern making, garment fitting, and sample development. The candidate will work closely with the design and production team to create accurate patterns and ensure excellent garment fit and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Create garment patterns from sketches, reference samples, measurements, and technical specifications.
Develop first patterns and make necessary corrections after fit sessions.
Perform size grading for different garment sizes.
Collaborate with designers and sampling tailors during product development.
Ensure patterns are production-ready and meet quality standards.
Provide technical guidance regarding garment construction and fit.
Maintain pattern records and specifications.
Requirements
Minimum 1 years of experience as a Pattern Master in women's apparel.
Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and fitting techniques.
Experience working with woven and knit fabrics.
Ability to interpret design sketches and technical specifications.
Knowledge of size grading and sample development.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or Certificate in Fashion Design, Garment Technology, Pattern Making, or a related field.
Experience with ethnic wear, western wear, or fusion wear.
Knowledge of CAD pattern-making software such as Gerber, Lectra, TUKAcad, or similar tools is a plus.
