Job Summary
The IT Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to end users by installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining desktop computers, laptops, printers, software, and network connectivity. The role ensures minimal downtime and timely resolution of IT issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Install and support Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Configure email clients such as Microsoft Outlook.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers and scanners.
- Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory.
- Provide remote support using remote desktop tools.
- Perform software installations, updates, and patch management.
- Configure antivirus software and ensure endpoint security.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams.
- Follow IT service management (ITSM) processes and meet SLA targets.
- Assist with system backups, data recovery, and hardware replacements.
- Provide technical support to users via phone, email, chat, and in person.

- Windows 10/11 administration

- Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice, etc.)

Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of desktop support experience (entry-level roles may accept fresh graduates with relevant skills).
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, or ITIL are an advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
