- Preventive/Predictive Maintenance: Develop and implement proactive strategies to prevent equipment failures before they cause downtime.
- Breakdown Management: Lead troubleshooting efforts and direct the team during critical equipment failures to quickly restore operations.
- Shutdown Planning: Schedule and oversee major overhauls and planned plant shutdowns.
2. Team Leadership & Development
- Staff Supervision: Allocate workloads, supervise the mechanical team, and oversee performance.
- Training & Mentorship: Identify skill gaps and provide continuous training to improve the technical expertise of the workforce.
3. Resource & Budget Management
- Budgeting: Manage the department's budget, including forecasting, resource allocation, and invoice approvals.
- Inventory & Spare Parts: Ensure proper stock levels for essential parts, monitor purchase orders, and manage vendor/supplier relations.
4. Health, Safety & Compliance
- Safety Standards: Enforce strict associate and plant safety regulations, ensuring 100% compliance with statutory and ISO standards.
- Workplace Environment: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized mechanical workshop and operational area.
5. Performance Tracking (KPIs) & Continuous Improvement
- KPI Monitoring: Track metrics like MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) to gauge equipment reliability.
- Root Cause Analysis: Analyze recurring mechanical issues and identify business improvement opportunities to enhance asset longevity.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
