Durable Polymers is a Lucknow-based manufacturer of PU foam, silicone foam, non-woven fibre, and engineered polymer components for Indian Railways, automotive OEMs, and industrial clients. We operate fully in-house — design, tooling, production, and testing — across 250,000 sq ft of manufacturing space.
ROLE IN ONE LINE
Supervise daily production operations — assign work, enforce process discipline, meet output targets, and drive continuous improvement across the production floor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and assign daily work to machine operators and production staff.
- Implement production policies and procedures; ensure adherence at the floor level.
- Set performance goals and shift targets; monitor and report output against plan.
- Identify production bottlenecks and recommend improvements to methods and equipment.
- Ensure all operators follow safety protocols, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.
- Coordinate with QC for in-process quality checks and address deviations immediately.
- Coordinate with stores for timely material availability on the production floor.
- Train and guide new production staff on SOPs and machine operating procedures.
- Maintain shift production records and submit reports to management daily.
MUST HAVE
- Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech — Mechanical, Production, or Chemical Engineering
- Hands-on experience managing a production team on the shop floor
- Knowledge of production planning and shift management
- Ability to enforce process discipline and resolve floor-level conflicts
- 3–6 years in a manufacturing production role with supervisory responsibility
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience in PU foam, polymer, or textile manufacturing
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S practices
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
NUMBERS THAT MATTER
- Supervises production team directly on the shop floor
- Daily production records and shift reports submitted without exception
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be comfortable with shift adjustments during peak production periods
- Floor presence is mandatory — this is not a desk role
Pay: ₹21,500.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
