ROLE SUMMARY
The Junior Product Designer / Junior Architect will support the design and execution of home interior projects. The role involves assisting senior designers and architects, engaging with clients to understand requirements, and contributing to design development while gaining hands-on exposure to practical interior project workflows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development of home interior layouts, design concepts, and product solutions
- Support senior designers and architects in ongoing design and execution activities
- Interact with clients to understand basic design requirements and preferences
- Present design ideas and concepts in a clear and professional manner
- Coordinate with internal teams for drawings, material selection, and execution support
- Assist with site coordination, basic measurements, and on-site requirements as needed
- Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, finishes, and industry best practices
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Technical & Functional Skills
- Basic understanding of interior design concepts, space planning, and layouts
- Presentation skills with the ability to explain ideas clearly
- Exposure to ERP systems; knowledge of Odoo ERP is an added advantage
Behavioural & Professional Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative thinking with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Client-focused mindset with the ability to understand requirements
- Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills
PREFERRED SKILLS (ADDED ADVANTAGE)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software
- Knowledge of Xperia design software
- Basic understanding of materials and finishes used in home interiors
- Prior exposure to client-facing or site coordination roles
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or Product Design
- Freshers or candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience may apply
- Junior-level architects, product designers, and interior design graduates are encouraged to apply
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY (MANDATORY)
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and skill level, in line with company policies.
