About the Role:
Evolvere Facades Private Limited is looking for a precise and analytical Facade Estimation Engineer to join our team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating project tender documents, preparing highly accurate cost estimations, and optimization strategies for diverse facade systems including curtain walls, structural glazing, unitized systems, doors, windows, and cladding.
Key Responsibilities:
Thoroughly review architectural drawings, tender documents, specifications, and bills of quantities (BOQ) to understand project scopes.
Perform precise quantity take-offs for aluminum profiles, glass, steel, hardware, sealants, and all other structural or decorative components of the facade.
Develop comprehensive cost sheets factoring in material costs, fabrication, waste margins, transportation, site installation, and labor.
Send out inquiries to material suppliers and system vendors, analyze competitive quotes, and negotiate to get the best commercial terms.
Propose alternative, cost-effective design solutions or material optimizations without compromising architectural intent or structural integrity.
Prepare technical and commercial bids, pre-qualification documents, and rate analysis for final submission to clients.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Education: BE Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch).
Experience: Minimum 3 years of solid, hands-on experience in estimation and costing within the facade industry. Candidates without direct facade estimation experience will not be shortlisted.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of aluminum architectural systems, structural glazing, cladding materials, and facade hardware.
Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced MS Excel for complex costing sheets. Experience with facade software like LogiKal or SchuCal is a strong advantage.
Competencies: High attention to detail, strong analytical math skills, and the ability to work under tight tender deadlines.
