Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and motivated Node.js Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs. The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-performance web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
- Design, build, and manage RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Integrate databases and third-party services into applications.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.
- Work closely with project managers and development teams to meet project requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript.
- Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
- Understanding of REST APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Git version control systems.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Freshers with strong Node.js knowledge or experienced candidates may apply.
- Relevant projects or internship experience will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD processes.
- Understanding of authentication and security practices such as JWT and OAuth.
