About the Role
We are looking for a curious, self-driven Digital Marketing Executive who enjoys learning new technologies and digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate should have a strong willingness to learn, be open to unlearning outdated practices, and continuously improve based on industry trends and best practices.
This role is ideal for someone who understands both the technical and marketing aspects of building and growing an online presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and maintain WordPress websites using page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery, etc.
- Update website content, landing pages, blogs, plugins, and media.
- Plan and execute on-page SEO activities.
- Perform keyword research and content optimisation.
- Understand the purpose of SEO activities, why they are performed, and the impact they have on search engine rankings and website performance.
- Perform basic technical SEO tasks and coordinate with developers when required.
- Use basic HTML to make minor website modifications.
- Assist in managing and growing the company's LinkedIn presence through content publishing, profile optimisation, and engagement.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm changes, SEO trends, WordPress developments, and digital marketing best practices.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of WordPress website creation and management.
- Experience working with WordPress page builders.
- Basic knowledge of HTML.
- Good understanding of SEO concepts, including:
- On-page SEO
- Technical SEO basics
- Keyword research
- Meta tags
- Internal linking
- Image optimisation
- Website crawling and indexing
- Basic analytics and performance monitoring
- Ability to explain why an SEO activity is performed and what impact it has on rankings and website performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent learning attitude with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Open mindset to learn, unlearn, and continuously improve.
Qualifications
- BCA or B.Tech / BE (Computer Science, IT, or related Engineering discipline).
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in Digital Marketing, SEO, or WordPress.
Preferred Qualifications (Plus Points)
- Experience managing or marketing through LinkedIn, including company pages and professional branding.
- Previous technical experience in web development, software, IT support, or related technical domains.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar.
- Basic understanding of CSS and JavaScript is an advantage.

- Candidates currently residing in Kerala (preferably Ernakulam/Kochi).
