Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Copy Editor with 1–3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong editing and proofreading skills, excellent command of English grammar, and hands-on experience working with Chicago Style guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, clarity, consistency, and formatting.
- Ensure all content adheres to Chicago Manual of Style standards.
- Review documents for accuracy, readability, and overall quality before publication.
- Coordinate with writers and content teams to maintain content consistency and quality.
- Verify references, citations, and formatting standards wherever required.
- Ensure timely delivery of edited content while maintaining high editorial standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Chicago Style editing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of grammar, syntax, and proofreading techniques.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
- Proficiency in MS Office and editing tools.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of experience in copy editing/proofreading.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
