ROLE PURPOSE
Maintain the entire showroom to Chennai Silks premium standards. Clean, safe, hygienic and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Showroom Maintenance
Daily cleaning of sales floor, trial rooms, washrooms, stairs, glass, entrance
Saree racks, mannequins, lighting, AC, and display area dusting
Ensure showroom smells fresh and looks premium at all times
2. Team Handling
Manage 8-15 housekeeping staff. Roster, attendance, leave
Train staff on cleaning SOP, safety, and customer behavior
Monitor work quality and give feedback
3. Inventory & Supplies
Stock check: cleaning chemicals, mops, toiletries, tissues, dustbins, air fresheners
Raise PO and maintain budget for housekeeping materials
4. Hygiene & Safety
Follow hygiene standards and pest control schedule
Ensure wet floor signage, waste disposal, and safety compliance
coordinate with security and maintenance team for repairs
5. Reporting
Daily checklist + report to Store Manager
Handle auditor/customer feedback on cleanliness
Location: Erode Showroom
Experience: 3-5 Years in Retail/Textile/Hospitality Housekeeping
Education: 10th / 12th Pass. Diploma in Hospitality preferred
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
Experience: Retail showroom / Mall / Hotel housekeeping
Language: Tamil Fluent. Basic English for reporting
Skills: Team leadership, Time management, Attention to detail
Other: Can stand/move for 8-9 hrs, Handle pressure during festivals
