We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase & Vendor Management Executive to lead
end-to-end procurement operations, inventory management, and strategic supplier coordination. The
ideal candidate must possess strong commercial negotiation skills, analytical rigor in evaluating multi vendor quotations, and high proficiency in MS Excel for maintaining comparative analysis sheets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Vendor Sourcing & Commercial Negotiation
Vendor Sourcing & Empanelment: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to expand supply
sources while managing long-term relationships with existing suppliers.
Multi-Sourcing Procurement: Ensure minimum 3 to 4 competitive quotations are sourced from
accredited vendors for every procurement requirement.
Comparative Statements (C1, C2, C3): Prepare detailed multi-column commercial comparison
sheets in Excel evaluating pricing, specifications, lead times, and payment terms.
Rate Negotiation: Lead aggressive rate negotiations with vendors to secure cost savings, favorable
payment windows, and strict delivery timelines.
2. Solar Procurement & PO Operations
Solar BOS Purchasing: Oversee specialized procurement for solar projects, including PV panels,
solar inverters, mounting structures, AC/DC cables, and Balance of System (BOS) components.
Purchase Order Generation: Draft, verify, and issue formal Purchase Orders (POs) aligned strictly
with approved comparative sheets and negotiated commercial terms.
3. Stock & Inventory Control
Goods Receipt Note (GRN): Inspect and verify material deliveries at site/warehouse and process
GRNs promptly to ensure billing and payment accuracy.
Stock Management & Inventory Tracking: Maintain real-time inventory counts, track inward/
outward material movements, and prevent project downtime due to stockouts.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
MS Excel Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Excel (C1/C2/C3 comparative modeling, VLOOKUP,
INDEX/MATCH, formulas, and data management).
Industry Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in solar project procurement, technical
purchasing, or general inventory management.
Negotiation & Commercial Acumen: Strong hunger for cost optimization and deep understanding
of vendor commercial contracts.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with vendors,
site engineers, and executive management.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply
Chain, or Commerce.
