Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and learner-focused Academic Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will guide prospective learners, understand their career aspirations, and help them choose the most suitable courses and learning paths.
This role requires strong communication skills, a consultative approach, and proven experience in student counseling, admissions, or education consulting.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide students and working professionals in selecting suitable courses based on their goals
- Understand learner requirements and provide personalized academic guidance
- Handle inbound and outbound leads through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other channels
- Follow up with prospective learners and support them through the enrollment process
- Achieve monthly admission and conversion targets
- Build strong relationships with learners and ensure a positive counseling experience
- Coordinate with academic and operations teams for seamless onboarding
- Maintain accurate lead records, student data, and reports in CRM
- Provide ongoing support and resolve learner concerns when required
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Academic Counseling / Admissions / Education Consulting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent counseling, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to understand learner needs and career goals
- Experience in lead conversion and target achievement
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and reporting
- Fluency in English and Malayalam preferred
