Summary:
As a DevOps+ Golang expert, you will be engaging in dynamic work environment to analyze, design and execute build systems at different levels. It involves collaborating with client teams to ensure successful implementation of build system on Go and Kubernetes and other tools. It also includes developing build scripts in more modular, maintainable sources in a phased approach. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality code and contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in, ensuring that client requirements are met effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Cluster Management: Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and optimal performance.
Container Orchestration: Manage the lifecycle of containerized applications, including deployment, scaling, updates, and rollbacks using Kubernetes features.
Automation: Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment, testing, and infrastructure provisioning using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Argo CD.
Monitoring & Logging: Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk) to ensure system health and proactive issue resolution.
Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices within Kubernetes environments, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and industry regulations.
Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Kubernetes clusters, applications, and infrastructure, often participating in on-call rotations.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and other IT teams to optimize workflows, improve application performance, and foster a DevOps culture.
Required Qualifications:
Expertise in Kubernetes: In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, architecture, and core components (Pods, Deployments, Services, etc.).
Containerization: Strong understanding of containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or on-premise Kubernetes deployments.
Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Go) and experience with automation tools.
CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Relevant Certifications: Kubernetes certifications (e.g., CKA, CKAD, CKS) are often a plus.
