PeeJay Max Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Internal Auditor to support internal and financial audit activities, verify accounting records, identify discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct internal audits of Accounts, Sales and Purchase.
- Verify invoices, bills, receipts, payments, purchase orders, GRNs, sales records and supporting documents.
- Check cash, bank, customer, vendor, inventory and ledger records for accuracy.
- Identify discrepancies, errors, process deviations and control weaknesses and report them to the Senior Internal Auditor.
- Review purchase and sales documentation and verify transactions against supporting records.
- Assist in preparing audit working papers, observations, and audit reports.
- Maintain proper records and supporting documents for all audit activities.
- Follow up with concerned departments on audit observations and corrective actions.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA / CMA Inter or relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in audit, accounting, or internal audit functions.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, internal controls, and audit procedures.
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP software and MS Excel.
