- Monitoring premises – Patrol buildings and surrounding areas to detect suspicious activity.
- Controlling access – Check identification, issue visitor passes, and ensure only authorized people enter restricted areas.
- Preventing theft and vandalism – Observe and deter criminal activities through regular patrols and surveillance.
- Responding to emergencies – Act quickly during fires, medical emergencies, alarms, or security incidents and contact emergency services when necessary.
- Monitoring surveillance systems – Watch CCTV cameras and security alarms to identify potential threats.
- Reporting incidents – Record accidents, suspicious activities, and security breaches in detailed reports.
- Enforcing rules and regulations – Ensure employees, visitors, and the public follow company policies and safety procedures.
- Providing customer service – Assist visitors with directions, answer questions, and offer general assistance.
- Conducting security checks – Inspect doors, windows, gates, and equipment to ensure they are secure.
- Handling conflicts – Calmly manage disputes, remove unauthorized individuals, and maintain order without unnecessary force.
