Job Summary
The Junior Accounts Executive is responsible for assisting in day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, processing vouchers and bills, supporting statutory compliance activities, and ensuring accurate and timely accounting entries. The role requires coordination with various departments and adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Pass accounting entries in ERP/Tally/software on a daily basis.
- Maintain books of accounts and accounting records accurately.
- Verify and record cash, bank, journal, purchase, and sales vouchers.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of all accounting records.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
2. Accounts Payable
- Verify vendor bills, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Process supplier payments as per company procedures.
- Maintain vendor ledger accounts and reconcile balances.
- Follow up with vendors regarding invoices and payment-related matters.
3. Accounts Receivable
- Generate customer invoices as required.
- Monitor customer outstanding balances.
- Maintain debtor records and assist in collection follow-ups.
- Reconcile customer accounts periodically.
4. Bank & Cash Management
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
- Record bank transactions and maintain bank books.
- Monitor petty cash transactions and maintain petty cash records.
- Assist in cash verification and cash management activities.
5. Statutory Compliance Support
- Assist in GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliance work.
- Prepare supporting schedules and reports required for statutory filings.
- Maintain records related to tax deductions and payments.
- Coordinate with auditors and consultants whenever required.
6. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Assist in preparation of expense analysis reports.
- Maintain various accounting registers and statements.
- Provide accounting data as required by management.
7. Audit Support
- Assist internal, statutory, GST, and tax auditors.
- Arrange documents and records required during audits.
- Ensure proper maintenance of audit-related documentation.
8. Coordination
- Coordinate with stores, purchase, HR, production, and other departments for accounting-related matters.
- Follow up for pending bills, supporting documents, and approvals.
- Assist seniors in financial and administrative assignments.
Educational Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / Finance Graduate.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in Accounts and Finance.
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply.
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime / ERP systems.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and bookkeeping practices.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
