Shri Sai Hospital is committed to delivering quality healthcare through advanced medical services, skilled professionals, and patient-centered care. We are looking for a dedicated and responsible OT Technician to join our surgical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the Operation Theatre before every surgical procedure by ensuring cleanliness, sterility, and readiness.
- Arrange, check, and maintain all surgical instruments, equipment, and consumables required for surgeries.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and storage of surgical instruments as per hospital protocols.
- Operate and maintain OT equipment such as suction machines, cautery units, OT lights, patient monitors, and other surgical devices.
- Prepare patients for surgery by assisting in positioning, shifting, and pre-operative arrangements.
- Monitor the availability of OT supplies and promptly report shortages to the concerned department.
- Dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with Biomedical Waste Management guidelines.
- Maintain accurate OT records, instrument checklists, sterilization logs, and inventory registers.
- Coordinate with CSSD, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure smooth OT operations.
- Follow infection control practices, patient safety standards, and hospital SOPs at all times.
- Assist in emergency surgeries and remain available for emergency OT duties as assigned.
- Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate timely maintenance.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information and maintain professional ethics.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or a related allied health discipline.
- Registration/certification as applicable under relevant regulatory guidelines.
Experience
- Candidates with 2–3 years of OT experience in a hospital will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and OT procedures.
- Understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and emergency duties.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
