About the Role OX Connections LLP is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily shop floor production operations in the electronics wire harness manufacturing department. The role involves supervising production lines, manpower, quality, and productivity to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities on the shop floor.
- Monitor production line productivity and ensure targets are achieved on time.
- Handle manpower planning and allocate work efficiently during shifts.
- Ensure availability of raw materials, tools, jigs, fixtures, and required components.
- Troubleshoot line and machine-related issues for smooth production flow.
- Maintain production efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Ensure SOP adherence, quality standards, and workplace safety compliance.
- Coordinate with maintenance and support teams for machine breakdowns and operational issues.
- Maintain daily production reports and documentation.
- Monitor work quality to ensure zero-defect production.
- Drive continuous improvement and productivity enhancement activities.
- Ensure proper handling of finished and semi-finished goods.
Preferred Candidate
- Profile 2–5 years of experience in wire harness or electronics manufacturing.
- Experience in production supervision and shop-floor handling.
- Good knowledge of wire harness production processes.
- Strong team handling and manpower management skills.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of quality systems and safety practices.
- Basic knowledge of Excel and production reporting.
- Responsible, disciplined, and able to work under deadlines.
Qualification
Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics preferred)
Manufacturing/technical background preferred
