HR Recruiter – Blue-Collar Recruitment

About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven HR Recruiter to manage end-to-end
recruitment for blue-collar workforce across Mumbai. This is a field-oriented role that
requires extensive travel to source, mobilise, interview, onboard, and deploy
candidates. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in high-volume hiring and a strong network of labour contractors, placement agencies, ITIs, NGOs, and local sourcing channels. The ability to independently generate candidate pipelines and achieve hiring targets is essential.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PG in HR preferred)
- 3–5 years of recruitment experience, with a strong focus on blue-collar hiring
- Prior experience in IFM, Facility Management, Staffing, Logistics, Warehousing,
- Manufacturing, or Workforce Solutions
- Proven network of labour contractors, manpower suppliers, placement agencies, ITIs, NGOs, and community partners
- Willingness to travel extensively across Mumbai for recruitment and mobilisation activities.
- Ability to manage multiple hiring requirements and meet recruitment timelines
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar positions across Mumbai.
- Source candidates through labour contractors, placement agencies, ITIs, NGOs, employee referrals, job portals, social media, community groups, and field sourcing activities.
- Conduct regular field visits to labour hubs, contractor locations, skill development centres, and recruitment camps.
- Organise walk-in interviews, hiring drives, and bulk recruitment campaigns.
- Mobilise candidates in batches and coordinate interviews, joining, and deployment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with labour contractors, manpower suppliers, team leaders, and local recruitment partners.
- Screen candidates, conduct preliminary interviews, negotiate offers, and coordinate onboarding.
- Complete KYC, documentation, background verification, and joining formalities.
- Work closely with operations and site teams to ensure timely deployment of manpower.
- Maintain a ready pipeline of qualified candidates for ongoing and urgent hiring requirements.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment MIS and hiring reports.
- Ensure timely closure of vacancies while maintaining high joining ratios and quality of hire.
Skills Required
- Strong field sourcing and candidate mobilisation skills
- Experience in bulk and high-volume recruitment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in job portals, social media sourcing, MS Office, and HRMS
- Strong planning, coordination, and follow-up abilities
- Target-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
