Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our engineering team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, gain practical exposure to real-world mechanical design and development projects, and contribute meaningfully to our ongoing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks / AutoCAD
- Support the preparation and review of engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical documentation
- Assist in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) interpretation and application on design drawings
- Participate in R&D activities and contribute to product improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality departments
- Conduct basic engineering calculations and analyses as required
- Support in prototyping, testing, and validation activities
- Assist in identifying design gaps and recommending improvements
- Maintain proper documentation of design changes and project progress
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution
- Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
- Hands-on experience or academic exposure to SolidWorks or AutoCAD is preferred
- Basic understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
