We are looking for energetic and confident Freight Broker Interns who are interested in building a career in the US logistics and freight brokerage industry.
The selected candidates will be trained to communicate with carriers and clients, understand freight requirements, negotiate rates, coordinate shipments, and support day-to-day freight operations.
This role is suitable for freshers who have strong communication skills, good negotiation ability, and are comfortable working in a fixed night shift and 5-day working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with carriers, drivers, and customers through calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Assist in finding suitable carriers for available freight loads.
- Learn and support carrier sourcing and load booking activities.
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers under the guidance of senior team members.
- Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules.
- Track shipments and regularly follow up with drivers/carriers for shipment updates.
- Provide timely updates regarding pickup, transit, delays, and delivery status.
- Maintain accurate shipment and carrier information in the system.
- Verify basic carrier details and required documentation before assigning loads.
- Coordinate with the operations team for smooth movement of shipments.
- Handle follow-ups professionally and maintain good relationships with carriers.
- Assist in resolving basic operational issues related to freight movement.
- Learn US transportation routes, freight terminology, equipment types, and industry processes.
- Maintain daily reports and complete assigned operational tasks on time.

Eligibility
- Graduate or undergraduate candidates may apply.
- Freshers are welcome.
- Candidates from BBA, B.Com, logistics, supply chain, business administration, or similar backgrounds will be preferred, but it is not mandatory.
- Prior BPO, sales, customer service, logistics, or calling experience will be an advantage.
- Must be comfortable working from the office in Mohali.
