Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate, empathetic, and dedicated Special Educator to join our academic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized instructional plans for students with diverse learning needs, including physical, emotional, behavioral, and learning disabilities. Your primary goal will be to create an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating environment that empowers every student to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Assess students' skills and learning needs to develop, implement, and regularly review tailored IEPs.
- Instructional Adaptation: Modify the standard curriculum and develop specialized teaching materials, lessons, and remedial programs to match student learning styles.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, positive, and structured classroom environment conducive to learning and behavioral growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with general education teachers, school counselors, speech therapists, and administrators to ensure integrated support for students.
- Parent Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for parents, providing regular updates on student progress and offering strategies for home reinforcement.
- Progress Tracking: Maintain accurate, confidential records of student progress, behavioral milestones, and assessment data.
- Inclusion Advocacy: Promote a culture of inclusivity and empathy across the entire school community.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: BA / MA Child Psychology.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹52,000.00 per month
