SKR Construction is seeking an experienced Site Store Keeper to manage and control all site store operations at construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing construction materials, tools, and equipment; maintaining accurate inventory records and stock registers; monitoring material consumption and stock levels; coordinating with procurement teams, suppliers, and site personnel; conducting regular stock verification and reconciliation; ensuring proper storage and safeguarding of materials; and supporting uninterrupted site operations through timely material availability while adhering to company procedures and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, tools, and equipment as per project requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements in registers/software on a daily basis.
- Issue materials to site personnel based on approved requisitions and track consumption.
- Conduct regular stock verification, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare inventory reports.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials to prevent damage, loss, or theft.
- Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, and site teams to maintain optimum stock levels and support uninterrupted site operations.
Qualification:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred), or Higher Secondary (12th Pass) with relevant experience.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, material receiving, and storekeeping procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and inventory/store management software.
- Good understanding of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Strong organizational, record-keeping, and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare stock reports, maintain documentation, and coordinate with site and procurement teams.
