We create high-quality digital experiences using cutting-edge technologies such as Unreal Engine, 3D rendering, and interactive visualization platforms.
We are looking for a Junior 3D Environment Artist with a passion for creating high-quality 3D assets for real-time applications. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in Blender and a keen interest in Unreal Engine workflows, who is eager to learn and grow while contributing to immersive architectural and interactive visualization projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model, texture, and UV unwrap environment assets, props, and hard-surface objects using Blender / 3Ds Max.
- Prepare and optimize 3D assets for real-time applications by maintaining efficient topology, polycount, and LODs.
- Import assets into Unreal Engine 5, set up materials/material instances, and ensure assets render correctly in-engine.
- Assist with scene assembly, lighting setup, and basic Blueprint placement under the guidance of senior artists.
- Identify and resolve asset issues such as normals, UV seams, scaling, and collision setup during review cycles.
- Maintain organized project files, naming conventions, and folder structures in accordance with studio pipeline standards.
- Collaborate closely with senior artists and technical artists to deliver high-quality real-time visualization projects while continuously improving technical and artistic skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of Blender or 3Ds Max, including modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing, and baking (Normal Maps, Ambient Occlusion, etc.).
- Basic understanding of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) texturing workflows using Substance Painter.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5, including asset import, material setup, and basic scene assembly.
- Understanding of real-time asset optimization concepts, including clean topology, polycount management, and Level of Detail (LOD).
- A portfolio demonstrating 3D modeling and texturing work (academic, personal, freelance, or professional projects).
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of architectural visualization (ArchViz) workflows.
- Familiarity with Datasmith or asset pipelines from tools such as SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max.
- Basic understanding of lighting, materials, and rendering within Unreal Engine.
- Eagerness to learn new tools, workflows, and real-time visualization techniques.
Experience:
Minimum 1+ years of experience in 3D modeling, environment art, or real-time visualization.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
