Job Description
Responsibilities: Lead and manage the full lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions transactions—from initial assessment and due diligence through deal execution and post-merger integration—ensuring alignment with Genpact’s strategic goals. Develop and execute M&A strategies that support the organization’s broader business objectives, including growth, capability expansion, and market positioning. Identify, screen, and evaluate potential acquisition targets by conducting comprehensive financial, strategic, and risk analyses. Lead deal structuring and negotiations for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, ensuring alignment with both commercial and regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with legal, finance, tax, HR, and operations teams to manage transaction processes and ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies. Work with integration teams to drive seamless transition and value realization from acquired entities, addressing operational, cultural, and organizational elements. Prepare and present detailed findings, strategic recommendations, and risk assessments to senior leadership to inform go/no-go decisions. Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to inform proactive M&A strategy development. Coordinate with external advisors, including investment banks, legal counsel, and consultants, to support deal execution and due diligence efforts.
