Job Purpose
The Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales growth, managing field sales activities, supporting the sales team, strengthening distributor relationships, ensuring timely order execution and payment recovery, and implementing market development and promotional activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management & Monitoring
- Review daily morning reports and team WhatsApp updates.
- Ensure team members reach the market on time with required materials.
- Conduct joint field visits with Sales Representatives (SRs) and provide market guidance.
- Monitor team performance, route coverage, and productivity.
- Conduct team meetings, collect updates, and resolve field issues.
- Set sales targets and track achievement.
- Provide regular training and support to team members.
Market Development & Sales
- Visit retail outlets regularly to improve product availability and visibility.
- Educate retailers on products, schemes, and promotions.
- Ensure order booking through the company application.
- Record market visits and upload required photos in the app.
- Monitor route plans and route frequency.
- Identify and appoint new distributors and complete related documentation.
- Work with SRs and other sales staff to resolve market issues and expand coverage.
Distributor Management
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors and super stockists.
- Follow up on distributor orders and payments.
- Ensure timely product supply to distributors and retailers.
- Monitor distributor service levels in assigned routes.
- Share daily order details with distributors for execution.
Marketing Activities
- Support and monitor marketing activities such as:
- Product Sampling
- Canopy Activities
- Exhibitions
- Product Displays
- Branding and Poster Placement
- Review display photos shared by the team.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare and submit weekly route plans.
- Review team route plans and market coverage.
- Submit daily evening reports.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, expense reports, and other required documents.
- Ensure reports are submitted to Head Office on time.
- Verify primary and secondary sales data.
- Collect and verify monthly data from super stockists and submit it to the office.
- Keep management informed about market updates and team activities.
- Submit leave reports when required.
Payment Collection & Recovery
- Ensure timely collection of payments.
- Follow up with distributors and retailers for outstanding dues.
Communication & Coordination
- Stay updated on company schemes, price lists, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Report market, distributor, retailer, and team issues to the office promptly.
- Maintain regular communication with management regarding field activities.
Sample & Inventory Control
- Review and approve sample requirements from team members.
- Monitor the use of marketing materials and samples.

Pay: ₹13,500.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
