Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Senior Education Counsellor (Sales) / Career Development Advisor to guide prospective learners in making informed educational and career decisions. This role combines consultative counselling with strategic sales to drive enrollments, nurture leads, and deliver an exceptional learner experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience in online higher education counselling, strong sales acumen, and the ability to build lasting relationships with prospective students.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective students through calls, emails, virtual meetings, and face-to-face interactions to understand their educational and career aspirations.
- Provide personalized guidance on online degree programs, university options, course structures, eligibility criteria, and career outcomes.
- Assist learners throughout the admission journey, from inquiry generation to successful enrollment.
- Convert leads into admissions through consultative selling and effective relationship management.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual enrollment targets.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, follow-ups, and lead status through CRM systems.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to nurture prospects and improve conversion rates.
- Stay updated on competitor offerings, market trends, and developments in the online education sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless learner experience.
Qualifications & ExperienceEducational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Degrees in Education, Psychology, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields will be preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in:
- Education Sales
- Academic Counselling
- Student Advisory Services
- Online Higher Education Counselling
- Online Degree Program Admissions
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as:
- LeadSquared (LSQ)
- Salesforce
- Zoho CRM
- Similar Lead Management Systems
- Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
