*Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Supplier Quality Engineer, located in Pune. A Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) ensures that raw materials, components, and services from vendors meet company, regulatory, and engineering standards. They are responsible for auditing supplier facilities, managing non-conformances, driving corrective actions, and improving supplier performance metrics.
*Knowledge :
- Machining process knowledge
- Fabrication & welding knowledge
- Shot blasting & powder coating knowledge
- ISO documentation
- CAPA report
- NC Handling
- Customer complaint handling
- 2D Drawing reading
- Material Grade Knowledge & its equivalent grades.
*Key Responsibilities:
- First piece inspection
- Supplier end quality check and validate the component.
- Inward out material inspection
- In-process & final inspection as per drawing
- Troubleshooting of technical quality issues
- Product validation
- First piece validation
- Responsible for enhancing quality culture in the organization
- Educate & train the employees
- Resolve the quality issues at customer end & supplier end
- Prepare the CAPA report
- Rework / rejection handling
- Responsible for preparing QAP for each project
- Coordinate with suppliers and meet the manufacturing timeline.
*Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical Engg.
BE in Mechanical Engg.(Bachelor of Engineering)
*Notice Period
Immediate joiners would be preferred / Max 1 month will be accepted.
