Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Soft Skills: Exceptional persuasion and negotiation abilities, along with the patience and empathy required to handle high-stress or confrontational interactions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and experience with industry-specific collection software like LexisNexis Accurint or FACS.
- Education: A high school diploma is typically the minimum requirement, though a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business is often preferred for more senior roles.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a similar call center environment.
