Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Trainer for Agarbatti, Dhoopbatti, Havan Samagri & Perfumery for our SHG entrepreneurship and livelihood development program in Thana Kalan, Una, Himachal Pradesh. The trainer will provide practical and hands-on training to Self Help Groups (SHGs) and rural women in incense product manufacturing, fragrance blending, packaging, and small-scale entrepreneurship development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct practical training sessions on making agarbatti, dhoopbatti, hawan samagri, and basic perfumery products.
- Train participants in raw material selection, mixing techniques, fragrance blending, rolling, drying, and finishing methods.
- Demonstrate safe handling of materials, hygiene, and quality control practices.
- Guide SHG members on packaging, labeling, branding, and storage techniques.
- Support participants in setting up small-scale production and livelihood activities.
- Train candidates on product costing, pricing, and local market opportunities.
- Maintain training records, attendance, assessments, and production reports.
- Assist in entrepreneurship development and market linkage activities.
- Encourage use of locally available materials and sustainable production practices.
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience in agarbatti, dhoopbatti, fragrance products, or related manufacturing activities.
- Minimum 1–3 years of practical training or production experience preferred.
- Knowledge of fragrance blending, incense production, and packaging methods.
- Experience working with SHGs, women groups, or livelihood projects preferred.
- Good communication and practical demonstration skills.
