JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Responsibilities:
Ø Create competitive, breakthrough strategies and plans
Ø Finds and selects the right talent for the organization and trains them
Ø Builds and maintains relationships with all other department heads
Specific Responsibilities:
Ø Responsible for achieving the overall top line of the resort
Ø Have in-depth knowledge of our product and competitors
Ø Develop and maintain an effective sales strategy that meets/exceeds the budgeted revenue targets
Ø Ensures market share and revenue goals are achieved by initiating sales & marketing strategies
Ø Responsible in maximizing productivity by assisting the sales teams to ensure that the business on books
is aligned with the resort’s yield management strategies
Ø Develops and implements annual sales goals for a sales team that are aligned with the Resort’s overall
revenue goals
Ø Accompany Sales Managers for sales calls for business closures
Ø Maintain and an excellent business relationship with the top management of TA’s and Corporates
Ø Responsible in creating an internal and external promotion calendar
Ø Oversee and ensure rate parity between Resort website and OTA's (Online travel agents), GDS, etc.
Ø Create and maintain a career mapping list of high performing salespeople and executes a recruitment and
talent acquisition plan with Human Resources
Ø Responsible for developing, directing, controlling and leading the Sales strategic initiatives and teams to
achieve the target sales volume, while maintaining expense budget and achieving the organization’s
objectives
Ø To oversee and manage sales staff and reservation to ensure maximum revenue, promotional coverage
and marketing opportunities are achieved
Ø Work closely with revenue management and marketing functions - develop strategies to meet the
budgeted top line, maximize REVPAR and grow market share
Ø Provide market intelligence – competitor rate strategies etc.
