Job Description: Inside Sales Executive – US Seller Acquisition
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Inside Sales Executive to expand our US seller network by identifying, reaching out to, and onboarding online retailers, brands, wholesalers, and manufacturers onto our eCommerce marketplace.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong research abilities, and confidence in engaging with US businesses through phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn. This is a target-driven role focused on building long-term partnerships with online sellers.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential online sellers, brands, wholesalers, and manufacturers across the United States.
- Generate qualified leads through web research, LinkedIn, business directories, marketplaces, and other online sources.
- Conduct outbound cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to introduce the marketplace and its benefits.
- Explain the platform's value proposition, seller benefits, pricing model, and onboarding process.
- Schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations with prospective sellers.
- Convert qualified prospects into active marketplace sellers.
- Assist sellers throughout the onboarding process, including documentation and account setup.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with sellers to encourage continued business growth.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, follow-ups, and sales activities in the CRM.
- Consistently achieve monthly acquisition and onboarding targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Inside Sales, Lead Generation, Business Development, or Vendor Acquisition.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a neutral accent.
- Experience in US outbound calling is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Comfortable working in US business hours/night shifts.
- Good understanding of eCommerce, online marketplaces, or digital business models.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently in a target-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, Shopify, eBay, Etsy, or other online selling platforms.
- Familiarity with Seller Central, marketplace onboarding, or eCommerce operations.
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar sales tools.
