Job Title: Physiotherapist
Job Summary:
A Physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical difficulties caused by injury, illness, disability, or aging. They use movement, exercise, manual therapy, education, and advice to help patients restore function, reduce pain, and improve mobility and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients’ physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans
- Diagnose movement dysfunction and physical impairments
- Use techniques such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and electrotherapy
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
- Educate patients on injury prevention, posture, and lifestyle changes
- Work with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Physiotherapy or related field
- Valid license or registration (as required by region)
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Work Environment:
Physiotherapists may work in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, sports facilities, or private practice.
