Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Solar Project Coordinator to join our team in Jaipur. In this role, you will assist in planning, executing, and overseeing residential, commercial, or industrial solar PV installation projects. You will act as the bridge between technical engineers, site contractors, procurement teams, and clients to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Assist in scheduling, tracking, and coordinating day-to-day operations for solar installation projects from site survey to commissioning.
- Site & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, vendors, and technicians to monitor work progress and adhere to project timelines.
- Documentation & Compliance: Manage project documentation, including design drawings, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), permits, inspection reports, and net-metering approval paperwork with DISCOM authorities.
- Material & Inventory Tracking: Liaise with the procurement team to track material dispatches, ensure timely delivery of solar panels, inverters, and BOS (Balance of System) materials to the site.
- Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any project-related concerns.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure installation work adheres to company quality standards and safety regulations on-site.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or Civil Engineering (preferred).
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in solar project coordination, site execution, or project assistance in the renewable energy sector.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of solar PV system design, rooftop/ground-mount solar installations, and net-metering processes in Rajasthan (JVVNL/DISCOM procedures).
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), MS Project, or AutoCAD (a plus).
- Communication & Coordination: Good verbal and written communication skills with strong problem-solving and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Travel: Willingness to visit local project sites across Jaipur and nearby areas as required.
