The AV Project Engineer (L2) is responsible for the implementation, configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and support of Audio Visual (AV), Video Conferencing (VC), and Unified Communications (UC) solutions. The engineer acts as the technical lead during project execution, handling complex installations, system integration, and issue resolution while ensuring projects are delivered according to design specifications and quality standards.
AV Project Engineer – Level 2 (L2) – Key Responsibilities
- Execute and commission AV/UC projects including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Poly, Cisco, Logitech, and other collaboration solutions as per approved designs.
- Lead onsite installation activities and coordinate with customers, contractors, OEMs, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Configure, test, and optimize AV systems, including displays, cameras, microphones, DSPs, control systems, and AV-over-IP solutions.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of AV, VC, audio, video, and network-related issues and provide timely resolution.
- Support and mentor Level 1 engineers by assisting with technical escalations and sharing best practices.
- Conduct system health checks, firmware upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Fine-tune audio and video settings to deliver the best user experience and meet room performance requirements.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including commissioning reports, configuration backups, as-built drawings, and handover documents.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and customer training, ensuring smooth project handover and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and OEM best practices while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
