About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Trainer to enhance the capabilities of our sales team through structured learning initiatives and continuous performance improvement programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying training needs, conducting engaging training sessions, monitoring effectiveness, and ensuring alignment with organizational sales standards and objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Development
- Assess training requirements and identify skill gaps within the sales team.
- Conduct classroom and on-the-job training sessions for sales executives and team leaders.
- Deliver training on product knowledge, sales processes, customer handling, and selling techniques.
- Facilitate role plays, practical exercises, and refresher programs to improve sales effectiveness.
- Develop and implement learning initiatives to enhance sales conversion and customer experience.
Performance Monitoring
- Review and monitor employee performance following training interventions.
- Support managers in improving team productivity and sales outcomes.
- Identify development opportunities and recommend improvement plans for underperforming employees.
Training Coordination
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding training schedules, certifications, and learning programs.
- Ensure timely participation of employees in mandatory training initiatives.
- Maintain training compliance records and documentation.
Product & Market Updates
- Conduct sessions on new product features, updates, and technological advancements.
- Keep the sales team informed about competitor activities and market trends.
- Organize product update programs whenever new offerings are introduced.
Training Administration & Reporting
- Maintain training attendance records, evaluations, and performance tracking reports.
- Monitor the accuracy of employee training data and certification details.
- Prepare and present training effectiveness reports to management.
- Support workforce development and succession planning initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in sales training, preferably within the automobile industry.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Good understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and adult learning methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
