Purpose of the Role:
We're looking for an experienced and creatively driven Senior Video Editor to lead our post-production efforts and mentor a growing team of editors. In this role, you'll not only craft high-quality videos that bring client stories to life, but also set the creative and technical benchmark for the editing team, guiding junior editors, refining workflows, and ensuring every deliverable reflects the studio's standard of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing & Creative Leadership:
- Lead the editing and assembly of raw footage, graphics, and audio into polished, high-impact videos that meet project goals and client expectations. Set the creative direction for major projects and review team output for quality and consistency.
- Team Management & Training:
Mentor, train, and guide junior and mid-level video editors, building their technical skills, creative judgment, and understanding of brand storytelling. Conduct regular feedback sessions and help onboard new team members.
- Storyboard Interpretation:
Work closely with the creative team to interpret scripts and storyboards, translating concepts into compelling visual narratives. Oversee and execute advanced color correction, sound design, voiceover syncing, music integration, and motion graphics work across projects. Partner with directors, producers, and designers to ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery, and alignment with brand guidelines. Act as a key point of coordination between the editing team and other departments.
Establish and maintain efficient post-production workflows, file organization systems, and version control practices across the team.Stay ahead of emerging video editing trends, styles, and tools, introducing fresh techniques and pushing creative standards across the studio.

Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience with industry-standard software:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- Strong command of video formats, editing workflows, and end-to-end post-production techniques
- Demonstrated experience leading, training, or mentoring a team of editors
- Excellent sense of timing, storytelling, and visual composition
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines while maintaining quality across a team's output
- A creative mindset with sharp attention to detail and a commitment to top-quality content
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct in all work-related activities
Preferred Qualities:
- Passion for video storytelling and visual branding, with a track record of elevating team output
- A proactive, ownership-driven attitude
- Prior experience in a fast-paced agency or production house, ideally in a senior or lead editing capacity
Experience:
- Video Editing: 4+ years (Preferred), including experience mentoring or leading editors
