Job Summary:
The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, supporting restaurant operations, assisting guests courteously, and ensuring proper hygiene standards in the restaurant, kitchen, and service areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, kitchen utensils, crockery, and cutlery.
- Assist in serving food and beverages to guests when required.
- Ensure tables are properly cleaned and arranged.
- Support kitchen and service staff during operational hours.
- Handle cleaning of floors, wash areas, and service counters.
- Dispose of waste materials properly and maintain hygiene standards.
- Refill water, tissue papers, and other guest requirements.
- Follow company hygiene, safety, and grooming standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors for smooth restaurant operations.
- Assist in loading/unloading supplies and stock arrangement.
Required Skills:
- Basic communication skills.
- Good behavior and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Physically fit and active.
- Knowledge of cleanliness and hygiene practices.
Qualification:
- Minimum 8th / 10th Pass preferred.
- Experience in hotel/restaurant service will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Fresher or experienced candidates can apply.
Working Conditions:
- Rotational shifts may be applicable.
- Standing for long hours may be required.
