Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Laser Machine Operator to operate and maintain laser cutting machines for precision cutting of metal or other materials. The candidate should be responsible for ensuring accurate cutting, machine efficiency, and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC laser cutting machines according to production requirements.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
Load raw materials (metal sheets, pipes, etc.) into the machine.
Set machine parameters such as speed, power, and cutting path.
Monitor machine operations and ensure precise cutting.
Inspect finished products for quality and dimensional accuracy.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
Identify and troubleshoot machine issues.
Maintain workplace safety and follow company procedures.
Keep production records and report daily output.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Production, or relevant field.
Experience operating laser cutting or CNC machines.
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
Ability to read engineering drawings and measurements.
Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Good attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to work in shifts if required.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CNC programming or nesting software.
Familiarity with laser cutting machines such as Trumpf, Bystronic, or similar.
